In Thursday's league game, the host Mathews Blue Devils baseball team scored a nice 16-6 victory over the West Point Pointers.

The Blue Devils (5-5) will now prepare for their game against Nandua (Onley, VA). The Warriors enter the non-league game with a 5-5 record. In their last game, Nandua was overwhelmed by Windsor (Windsor, VA), 7-4, in a non-league game.

Next, the Pointers face the Charles City Panthers (Charles City, VA) in a Tidewater game, on Tuesday, April 29. West Point will attempt to improve on its 1-9 season record.
