The New Brighton Lions (New Brighton, PA) baseball the host Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Chargers (Coraopolis, PA), 11-8 in Thursday's non-league challenge.

The Lions now own a 9-5 record. They take the field next when they host Quaker Valley for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, April 30.

With the defeat, Our Lady of the Sacred Heart drops to 9-6 on the year. The Chargers host Springdale (Springdale, PA) to clash with the Dynamos in a WPIAL 2A 3 challenge on Monday, April 28. The Dynamos go into the challenge with a record of 3-7. Springdale lost 18-0 in their recent league challenge against Riverview (Oakmont, PA)
