The Philomath Warriors baseball team scored 12 runs and held the visiting Stayton Eagles to 11 in the Warriors league win on Thursday.

The Warriors now own a 12-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Cascade for a 4A Oregon West test on Monday, April 28. Philomath will play a Cougars team coming off a 10-2 league loss to Sweet Home (Sweet Home, OR). The Cougars record now stands at 6-7.

With the defeat, Stayton drops to 4-10 on the year. The Eagles travel to North Marion (Aurora, OR) to play the Huskies in a 4A Oregon West test on Monday, April 28. The Huskies go into the test with a record of 3-4. North Marion won 18-0 in their recent league test against Cascade (Turner, OR)
