The Williamston Hornets (Williamston, MI) baseball got by the visiting Portland Raiders (Portland, MI), 4-3 in Thursday's non-league challenge.
The Hornets now own a 15-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to East Lansing for a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 26. Williamston will clash with a Trojans team coming off a 13-2 league win over Everett (Lansing, MI). The Trojans record now stands at 2-6.
With the defeat, Portland drops to 4-3 on the year. The Raiders travel to Lakewood (Lake Odessa, MI) to clash with the Vikings in a Capital Area - White challenge on Tuesday, April 29. The Vikings go into the challenge with a record of 3-5.
