Massachusetts High School Baseball - Turners Falls edges Smith Academy

The crowd at Thursday's non-league battle between the Turners Falls Thunder (Montague, MA) and the visiting Smith Academy Falcons (Hatfield, MA), saw Turners Falls's baseball team gain a win over Smith Academy by a tally of 8-5.

The Thunder (4-3) will now prepare for their battle against Pioneer Valley Regional (Northfield, MA). The Panthers enter the non-league battle with a 8-0 record. In their last battle, Pioneer Valley Regional held off Hampshire Regional (Westhampton, MA), 12-2, in a league battle.

Next, the Falcons face the St. Mary Saints (Westfield, MA) in a non-league battle, on Friday, April 25. Smith Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 1-7 season record.
