The Hoover Cardinals volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Point Loma Pointers to 1 in the Cardinals league triumph on Thursday.

The Cardinals now have a 11-12 record. They play next when they travel to Christian for a City Central outing on Tuesday, April 29. Hoover will play a Patriots team coming off a 3-2 league win over Lincoln (San Diego, CA). The Patriots record now stands at 17-12.

With the loss, Point Loma drops to 2-19 on the campaign. The Pointers travel to Otay Ranch (Chula Vista, CA) to play the Mustangs in a non-league outing on Friday, April 25. The Mustangs come into the outing with a record of 12-16. Otay Ranch lost 3-0 in their recent league outing against Eastlake (Chula Vista, CA)
