Auburn Eagles (Riner, VA) boosters exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the visiting Bland County Bears (Rocky Gap, VA), 4-1 in a league test.

With the triumph, Auburn moves its record to 8-3 on the campaign. The Eagles host Fort Chiswell (Max Meadows, VA) to clash with the Pioneers in a Mountain Empire test on Monday, April 28. The Pioneers come into the test with a record of 0-6. Fort Chiswell 2-2 in their recent non-league test against Bath County (Hot Springs, VA)

The Bears now sport a 4-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to George Wythe for a Mountain Empire test on Friday, April 25. Bland County will clash with a Maroons team coming off a 2-1 league loss to Giles (Pearisburg, VA). The Maroons record now stands at 3-4.
