In Thursday's league outing, the host Charlotte Country Day School Buccaneers soccer squad scored a tight 5-1 victory over the Charlotte Christian Knights.

The Buccaneers (7-8) will now prepare for their outing against Charlotte Latin (Charlotte, NC). The Hawks go into the NCISAA Charlotte outing with a 16-2 record. In their last outing, Charlotte Latin got by Cape Fear Academy (Wilmington, NC), 5-0, in a non-league outing.

Next up, the Knights play the Hickory Ridge Ragin' Bulls (Harrisburg, NC) in a non-league outing, on Monday, April 28. Charlotte Christian will attempt to improve on its 3-12 season record. The Ragin' Bulls go into the outing with a 17-0 record after their 1-0 league win over Cox Mill (Concord, NC).
