Mallard Creek Mavericks (Charlotte, NC) boosters exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the host Harding University Rams (Charlotte, NC), 9-0 in a league test.

With the triumph, Mallard Creek moves its record to 9-4 on the campaign. The Mavericks host Hough (Cornelius, NC) to face the Huskies in a Queen City 3A/4A contest on Tuesday, April 29. The Huskies enter the contest with a record of 18-0. Hough won 10-0 in their recent league contest against West Charlotte (Charlotte, NC)

The Rams (2-14) will now prepare for their contest against Concord (Concord, NC). The Spiders enter the non-league contest with a 1-16 record. In their last contest, Concord was overwhelmed by Central Cabarrus (Concord, NC), 6-0, in a league contest.
