In Thursday's league contest, the Riverside-Durham Pirates (Durham, NC) soccer team routed the visiting Hillside Hornets (Durham, NC), by a count of 6-0.
Next, the Pirates battle the Chapel Hill Tigers (Chapel Hill, NC) in a DC-VI 4A contest, on Tuesday, April 29. Riverside-Durham will attempt to upgrade on its 10-6 season record. The Tigers enter the contest with a 4-7 record after their 2-1 league win over Jordan (Durham, NC).
The Hornets (8-7) will now prepare for their contest against Durham Charter (Durham, NC). The Lions enter the non-league contest with a 0-3 record. In their last contest, Durham Charter was overwhelmed by Youngsville Academy Charter (Youngsville, NC), 8-1, in a league contest.
