In Thursday's non-league game, the host Pomona Panthers baseball team scored a close 8-2 win over the Dakota Ridge Eagles.
The Panthers (5-5) will now prepare for their game against Westminster (Westminster, CO). The Wolves go into the non-league game with a 2-7 record. In their last game, Westminster was overwhelmed by Brighton (Brighton, CO), 22-0, in a league game.
Next, the Eagles play the Green Mountain Rams (Lakewood, CO) in a non-league game, on Saturday, April 19. Dakota Ridge will attempt to improve on its 4-3 season record. The Rams go into the game with a 4-5 record after their 10-3 non-league loss to Golden (Golden, CO).
