The Monticello Mustangs smashed the visiting Orange County Fighting Hornets soccer team by a tally of 5-0 in Thursday's non-league game.
Next, the Mustangs clash with the Fluvanna County Flying Flucos (Palmyra, VA) in a non-league game, on Monday, April 28. Monticello will attempt to advance on its 6-2 season record. The Flying Flucos come into the game with a 4-5 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Goochland (Goochland, VA).
The Fighting Hornets (3-7) will now prepare for their game against Charlottesville (Charlottesville, VA). The Black Knights come into the non-league game with a 7-1 record. In their last game, Charlottesville edged Western Albemarle (Crozet, VA), 1-0, in a non-league game.
