The Ashe County Huskies overwhelmed the host North Lincoln Knights softball squad by a count of 9-3 in Thursday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Huskies meet the North Lincoln Knights (Lincolnton, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, April 24. Ashe County will attempt to upgrade on its 10-3 season record. The Knights go into the challenge with a 3-5 record after their 12-2 non-league win over Maiden (Maiden, NC).
