The Boardman Spartans softball team scored 8 runs and held the host Chardon Hilltoppers to 6 in the Spartans non-league win on Thursday.

The Spartans now possess a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mathews for a non-league battle on Monday, April 28.

With the loss, Chardon moves to 7-5 on the season. The Hilltoppers host North Ridgeville (North Ridgeville, OH) to confront the Rangers in a non-league battle on Friday, April 25. The Rangers come into the battle with a record of 6-3. North Ridgeville won 20-13 in their recent non-league battle against Berea-Midpark (Berea, OH)
