In Thursday's non-league challenge, the host South Bronx Prep Cougars lacrosse squad scored a good 16-7 triumph over the Brooklyn Technical Engineers.

The Cougars (10-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Jamaica (Jamaica, NY). The Beavers go into the non-league challenge with a 0-9 record. In their last challenge, Jamaica was overwhelmed by Bronx High School of Science (Bronx, NY), 9-4, in a league challenge.

Next, the Engineers clash with the Douglass Academy Lions (New York, NY) in a PSAL Championship challenge, on Saturday, April 26. Brooklyn Technical will attempt to better on its 6-4 season record. The Lions go into the challenge with a 7-1 record after their 12-11 league win over Eagle Academy II (Brooklyn, NY).
