In Thursday's non-league contest, the host Marlboro Mustangs lacrosse squad scored a tight 11-10 win over the Freehold Township Patriots.

The Mustangs (6-2) will now prepare for their contest against Toms River North (Toms River, NJ). The Mariners enter the non-league contest with a 4-4 record.
