The Lane Tech Champions lacrosse squad scored 7 points and limited the visiting Lincoln Park Lions to 1 in the Champions league triumph on Thursday.

The Champions now own a 5-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Saint Ignatius College Prep for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 29. Lane Tech will clash with a Wolfpack squad coming off a 12-9 non-league loss to Downers Grove South (Downers Grove, IL). The Wolfpack record now stands at 8-5.

With the loss, Lincoln Park falls to 6-2 on the year. The Lions host Taft (Chicago, IL) to play the Eagles in a Chicago Public game on Thursday, May 1. The Eagles come into the game with a record of 4-6. Taft won 11-4 in their recent non-league game against St. Laurence (Burbank, IL)
