In Thursday's league outing, the host South Aiken Thoroughbreds soccer squad scored a tight 1-0 victory over the Aiken Fighting Green Hornets.

The Thoroughbreds (12-7) will now prepare for their outing against North Augusta (North Augusta, SC). The Yellow Jackets go into the AAAA Region 4 outing with a 11-4 record. In their last outing, North Augusta got by Brookland-Cayce (Cayce, SC), 3-0, in a league outing.

Next up, the Fighting Green Hornets confront the Midland Valley Mustangs (Graniteville, SC) in a AAAA Region 4 outing, on Saturday, April 26. Aiken will attempt to improve on its 4-12 season record. The Mustangs go into the outing with a 4-8 record after their 4-2 league loss to South Aiken (Aiken, SC).
