Meadowbrook Monarchs (Richmond, VA) backers exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the host Dinwiddie Generals (Dinwiddie, VA), 2-0 in a league test.

With the triumph, Meadowbrook advances its record to 4-4 on the campaign. The Monarchs host Manchester (Midlothian, VA) to clash with the Lancers in a non-league test on Monday, May 5. The Lancers come into the test with a record of 3-6.

The Generals now have a 3-6 record. They take the field next when they host Matoaca for a Central test on Tuesday, April 29. Dinwiddie will clash with a Warriors team coming off a 1-0 league win over Prince George (Prince George, VA). The Warriors record now stands at 6-1.
