The Salem Spartans (Salem, VA) soccer overwhelmed the host Lord Botetourt Cavaliers (Daleville, VA), 6-1 in Thursday's non-league challenge.
The Spartans now hold a 5-4 record. They play next when they host Pulaski County for a River Ridge challenge on Friday, April 25. Salem will encounter a Cougars squad coming off a 7-0 league loss to Christiansburg (Christiansburg, VA). The Cougars record now stands at 2-5.
