Monticello Mustangs (Charlottesville, VA) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the visiting Orange County Fighting Hornets (Orange, VA), 3-1 in a league test.

With the triumph, Monticello moves its record to 6-1 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Fluvanna County (Palmyra, VA) to meet the Flying Flucos in a Jefferson test on Monday, April 28. The Flying Flucos come into the test with a record of 6-3. Fluvanna County won 1-0 in their recent league test against Goochland (Goochland, VA)

The Fighting Hornets now sport a 4-5 record. They take the field next when they host Charlottesville for a Jefferson test on Monday, April 28. Orange County will meet a Black Knights team coming off a 1-1 league Western Albemarle (Crozet, VA). The Black Knights record now stands at 7-0.
