California High School Softball - Big Bear knocked off by Riverside Prep

The Riverside Prep Silver Knights overwhelmed the visiting Big Bear Bears softball squad by a count of 17-2 in Thursday's league challenge.

Next, the Silver Knights meet the Excelsior Charter Eagles (Victorville, CA) in a Cross Valley challenge, on Tuesday, April 29. Riverside Prep will attempt to upgrade on its 12-9 season record. The Eagles go into the challenge with a 11-8 record after their 16-5 league win over Cobalt Institute of Math & Science Academy (Victorville, CA).

The Bears (8-9) will now prepare for their challenge against University Prep (Victorville, CA). The Jaguars go into the Cross Valley challenge with a 15-4 record. In their last challenge, University Prep toppled Academy for Academic Excellence (Apple Valley, CA), 15-4, in a league challenge.
