Indiana High School Softball - New Castle bounces Cambridge City Lincoln

April 24, 2025: Cambridge City, IN 47327

In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting New Castle Trojans softball team scored a tight 11-4 win over the Cambridge City Lincoln Golden Eagles.

The Trojans (6-3) will now prepare for their match against Wapahani (Selma, IN). The Raiders come into the non-league match with a 0-6 record. In their last match, Wapahani was routed by Shenandoah (Middletown, IN), 20-5, in a league match.

In their next game, the Golden Eagles battle the Winchester Community Golden Falcons (Winchester, IN) in a Tri-Eastern match, on Monday, April 28. Cambridge City Lincoln will attempt to better on its 2-6 season record. The Golden Falcons come into the match with a 7-2 record after their 24-6 non-league win over Muncie Central (Muncie, IN).
