California High School Softball - Hillsdale edges Carlmont

April 24, 2025: San Mateo, CA 94403

The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Hillsdale Fighting Knights (San Mateo, CA) and the visiting Carlmont Scots (Belmont, CA), observed Hillsdale's softball team get by Carlmont by a tally of 2-0.

The Fighting Knights (13-6) will now prepare for their bout against Burlingame (Burlingame, CA). The Panthers go into the Peninsula - Bay bout with a 4-10 record. In their last bout, Burlingame tipped Gunn (Palo Alto, CA), 9-7, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Scots clash with the Notre Dame Tigers (Belmont, CA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, April 28. Carlmont will attempt to advance on its 5-13 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 13-3 record after their 13-1 league win over Menlo-Atherton (Atherton, CA).
