The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Cascade Cougars (Turner, OR) and the host North Marion Huskies (Aurora, OR), observed Cascade's softball team prevail over North Marion by a tally of 21-0.

The Cougars (16-0) will now prepare for their bout against Sweet Home (Sweet Home, OR). The Huskies go into the 4A Oregon West bout with a 8-5 record. In their last bout, Sweet Home was routed by Philomath (Philomath, OR), 9-3, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Huskies meet the Newport Cubs (Newport, OR) in a 4A Oregon West challenge, on Monday, April 28. North Marion will attempt to upgrade on its 4-6 season record. The Cubs go into the challenge with a 3-11 record after their 13-1 league loss to Stayton (Stayton, OR).
