The Chambers Cougars softball squad (Charlotte, NC), was routed 23-8 in Thursday's league contest with the host North Mecklenburg Vikings (Huntersville, NC)
With the triumph, North Mecklenburg improves its record to 9-6 on the year. The Vikings travel to Mallard Creek (Charlotte, NC) to face the Mavericks in a Queen City 3A/4A contest on Monday, April 28. The Mavericks enter the contest with a record of 7-11. Mallard Creek lost 12-0 in their recent league contest against Hough (Cornelius, NC)
The Cougars now hold a 6-9 record. They play next when they host West Charlotte for a Queen City 3A/4A contest on Tuesday, April 29. Chambers will face a Lions squad coming off a 8-7 non-league loss to Berry (Charlotte, NC). The Lions record now stands at 6-8.
