The Nelson softball team scored 11 runs and held the host Clackamas Cavaliers to 1 in the league win on Thursday.

The now sport a 7-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Gresham for a 6A Mt. Hood battle on Monday, April 28. Nelson will confront a Gophers team coming off a 9-4 league loss to Central Catholic (Portland, OR). The Gophers record now stands at 11-5.

With the loss, Clackamas moves to 3-12 on the season. The Cavaliers host David Douglas (Portland, OR) to confront the Scots in a 6A Mt. Hood battle on Monday, April 28. The Scots come into the battle with a record of 0-6.
