California High School Softball - Cobalt Institute of Math & Science Academy knocked off by Excelsior Charter

April 24, 2025: Victorville, CA 92392

The Excelsior Charter Eagles overwhelmed the host Cobalt Institute of Math & Science Academy softball squad by a count of 16-5 in Thursday's league challenge.

Next, the Eagles meet the Riverside Prep Silver Knights (Oro Grande, CA) in a Cross Valley challenge, on Tuesday, April 29. Excelsior Charter will attempt to upgrade on its 11-8 season record. The Silver Knights go into the challenge with a 12-9 record after their 17-2 league win over Big Bear (Big Bear City, CA).

The (0-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Academy for Academic Excellence (Apple Valley, CA). The Knights go into the Cross Valley challenge with a 8-11 record. In their last challenge, Academy for Academic Excellence was routed by University Prep (Victorville, CA), 15-4, in a league challenge.
