The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Wauzeka-Steuben Hornets (Wauzeka, WI) and the host De Soto Pirates (De Soto, WI), observed Wauzeka-Steuben's softball team get by De Soto by a tally of 10-5.

The Hornets (4-2) will now prepare for their bout against Seneca (Seneca, WI). The Indians go into the Ridge & Valley bout with a 4-5 record.

In their next game, the Pirates clash with the Brookwood Falcons (Ontario, WI) in a non-league bout, on Friday, April 25. De Soto will attempt to advance on its 5-4 season record. The Falcons go into the bout with a 6-5 record after their 7-6 league loss to Wonewoc-Center (Wonewoc, WI).
