In Thursday's league test, the East Dubuque Warriors (East Dubuque, IL) softball squad overwhelmed the host Warren/Stockton Warhawks (Warren, IL), by a count of 8-1.

Next, the Warriors meet the River Ridge/Scales Mound Wildcats (Hanover, IL) in a NUIC West test, on Monday, April 28. East Dubuque will attempt to upgrade on its 8-6 season record. The Wildcats go into the test with a 9-10 record after their 11-1 league loss to Fulton (Fulton, IL).

The Warhawks (7-7) will now prepare for their test against Morrison (Morrison, IL). The Mustangs enter the non-league game with a 8-4 record. In their last game, Morrison edged Eastland (Lanark, IL), 4-1, in a league game.
