The Geneva Panthers edged the visiting North Rose-Wolcott Cougars softball squad by a count of 11-10 in Thursday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Panthers meet the South Seneca Falcons (Ovid, NY) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, April 25. Geneva will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record. The Falcons enter the challenge with a 2-2 record after their 23-3 league win over Honeoye (Honeoye, NY).
The Cougars (2-3) will now prepare for their challenge against East Rochester (East Rochester, NY). The Bombers enter the Wayne County challenge with a 0-4 record. In their last challenge, East Rochester was nudged by Red Jacket (Shortsville, NY), 20-17, in a non-league challenge.
