The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Goodrich Martians (Goodrich, MI) and the host Midland Chemics (Midland, MI), observed Goodrich's softball team get by Midland by a tally of 3-0.

The Martians (10-1) will now prepare for their bout against Lake Fenton (Linden, MI). The Blue Devils go into the Flint Metro bout with a 13-2 record. In their last bout, Lake Fenton tipped Clio (Clio, MI), 4-3, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Chemics clash with the Bay City Western Warriors (Auburn, MI) in a Saginaw Valley bout, on Monday, April 28. Midland will attempt to advance on its 2-6 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 5-3 record after their 5-3 league win over Powers Catholic (Flint, MI).
