The Hillcrest Rams triumphed over the host J.L. Mann Patriots softball squad by a count of 9-0 in Thursday's league challenge.
Next, the Rams play the Easley Green Wave (Easley, SC) in a AAAAA Region 1 challenge, on Friday, April 25. Hillcrest will attempt to upgrade on its 11-10 season record. The Green Wave enter the challenge with a 7-8 record after their 19-4 league win over J.L. Mann (Greenville, SC).
The Patriots (0-17) will now prepare for their challenge against T.L. Hanna (Anderson, SC). The Yellow Jackets enter the AAAAA Region 1 challenge with a 16-3 record. In their last challenge, T.L. Hanna overcame Pendleton (Pendleton, SC), 9-2, in a non-league challenge.
