Idaho High School Softball - Idaho City bested by Horseshoe Bend

April 24, 2025: Horseshoe Bend, ID 83629

The Horseshoe Bend Mustangs triumphed over the visiting Idaho City Wildcats softball squad by a count of 26-16 in Thursday's league challenge.

Next, the Mustangs meet the Glenns Ferry Pilots (Glenns Ferry, ID) in a 2A Western Idaho challenge, on Monday, April 28. Horseshoe Bend will attempt to upgrade on its 3-6 season record. The Pilots enter the challenge with a 17-3 record after their 8-6 non-league loss to Potlatch (Potlatch, ID).

The Wildcats (7-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Wilder (Wilder, ID). The Wildcats enter the 2A Western Idaho challenge with a 6-5 record. In their last challenge, Wilder overcame Horseshoe Bend (Horseshoe Bend, ID), 11-6, in a league challenge.
