South Charleston Black Eagles (South Charleston, WV) supporters left the game thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad topple the host Huntington Highlanders (Huntington, WV), 13-3 in a league game.
With the triumph, South Charleston improves its record to 7-14 on the year. The Black Eagles travel to Capital (Charleston, WV) to play the Cougars in a Mountain State game on Saturday, April 26. The Cougars enter the game with a record of 3-16. Capital lost 9-0 in their recent league game against St. Albans (St. Albans, WV)
The Highlanders now hold a 3-18 record. They play next when they travel to Tug Valley for a non-league game on Tuesday, April 29. Huntington will play a Panthers squad coming off a 10-1 non-league loss to George Rogers Clark (Winchester, KY). The Panthers record now stands at 14-7.
