The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Mesabi East Giants (Aurora, MN) and the visiting International Falls Broncos (International Falls, MN), observed Mesabi East's softball team notch a victory over International Falls by a tally of 16-3.

The Giants (1-4) will now prepare for their bout against Greenway/Nashwauk-Keewatin (Coleraine, MN). The Raiders go into the non-league bout with a 7-0 record. In their last bout, Greenway/Nashwauk-Keewatin gained a win over Aitkin (Aitkin, MN), 13-8, in a non-league outing.

With the loss, International Falls moves to 1-3 on the season. The Broncos travel to Moose Lake/Willow River (Moose Lake, MN) to encounter the Rebels in a non-league outing on Monday, April 28. The Rebels come into the outing with a record of 6-2. Moose Lake/Willow River won 12-1 in their recent non-league outing against South Ridge (Culver, MN)
