The McDonald Blue Devils softball team scored 4 runs and held the visiting Springfield Tigers to 1 in the Blue Devils league win on Thursday.

The Blue Devils now sport a 4-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Memorial for a Mahoning Valley Athletic - Scarlet game on Saturday, April 26. McDonald will play a Red Devils squad coming off a 9-4 league win over Lowellville (Lowellville, OH). The Red Devils record now stands at 8-7.

The Tigers now hold a 8-8 record. They play next when they host Poland Seminary for a non-league game on Saturday, April 26. Springfield will play a Bulldogs squad coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Crestview (Columbiana, OH). The Bulldogs record now stands at 9-6.
