Pennsylvania High School Softball - South Park bounces McGuffey

In Thursday's league match, the visiting South Park Eagles softball team scored a tight 5-0 win over the McGuffey Highlanders.
The Eagles (13-0) will now prepare for their match against Charleroi (Charleroi, PA). The Cougars come into the WPIAL 3A 1 match with a 5-6 record. In their last match, Charleroi nipped Keystone Oaks (Pittsburgh, PA), 8-1, in a league match.
In their next game, the Highlanders confront the Steel Valley Ironmen (Munhall, PA) in a WPIAL 3A 1 match, on Monday, April 28. McGuffey will attempt to better on its 9-5 season record. The Ironmen come into the match with a 2-9 record after their 7-1 league loss to Keystone Oaks (Pittsburgh, PA).
