The Redwood Rangers softball team scored 8 runs and held the visiting Mt. Whitney Pioneers to 0 in the Rangers league win on Thursday.
The Rangers now possess a 14-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Porterville for a East Yosemite battle on Tuesday, April 29. Redwood will confront a Panthers team coming off a 11-1 league loss to Monache (Porterville, CA). The Panthers record now stands at 9-14.
With the loss, Mt. Whitney moves to 7-13 on the season. The Pioneers host Golden West (Visalia, CA) to confront the Trailblazers in a East Yosemite battle on Tuesday, April 29. The Trailblazers come into the battle with a record of 13-8. Golden West lost 5-4 in their recent league battle against El Diamante (Visalia, CA)
