In Thursday's non-league test, the Springboro Panthers (Springboro, OH) softball squad got by the visiting Waynesville Spartans (Waynesville, OH), by a tally of 7-6.
Next, the Panthers clash with the Northmont Thunderbolts (Clayton, OH) in a Greater Western Ohio test, on Friday, April 25. Springboro will attempt to advance on its 13-6 season record. The Thunderbolts go into the test with a 8-6 record after their 13-3 non-league loss to Tri-Village (New Madison, OH).
The Spartans (1-7) will now prepare for their test against Franklin (Franklin, OH). The Wildcats go into the non-league test with a 11-4 record. In their last test, Franklin held off Valley View (Germantown, OH), 6-1, in a non-league test.
