Virginia High School Baseball - Appomattox County defeats William Campbell

The Appomattox County Raiders baseball team scored 10 runs and held the visiting William Campbell Generals to 2 in the Raiders league win on Friday.

The Raiders now own a 10-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Rustburg for a non-league test on Monday, April 27. Appomattox County will play a Red Devils team coming off a 15-0 league win over Amherst County (Amherst, VA). The Red Devils record now stands at 7-5.

With the defeat, William Campbell drops to 3-9 on the year. The Generals host Nelson County (Lovingston, VA) to play the Governors in a Dogwood test on Wednesday, April 29. The Governors go into the test with a record of 3-9.
