Texas High School Baseball - Bowie holds off Pewitt

The Bowie Pirates baseball team scored 6 runs and held the host Pewitt Brahmas to 2 in the Pirates league win on Friday.

The Pirates now own a 12-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Martins Mill for a non-league test on Thursday, April 30. Bowie will clash with a Mustangs team coming off a 12-0 league win over Fruitvale (Fruitvale, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 5-6.

With the defeat, Pewitt drops to 7-12 on the year. The Brahmas travel to Hawkins (Hawkins, TX) to clash with the Hawks in a non-league test on Wednesday, April 29. The Hawks go into the test with a record of 14-7. Hawkins won 1-0 in their recent league test against Yantis (Yantis, TX)
