California High School Baseball - North edges Peninsula

April 24, 2026: Torrance, CA 90504

The North Saxons baseball team scored 8 runs and held the visiting Peninsula Panthers to 5 in the Saxons league win on Friday.

The Saxons now own a 11-14 record. They take the field next when they host South for a Pioneer test on Tuesday, April 28. North will play a Spartans team coming off a 6-3 league win over Peninsula (Rolling Hills Estates, CA). The Spartans record now stands at 16-7.

With the defeat, Peninsula drops to 6-14 on the year. The Panthers host South (Torrance, CA) to play the Spartans in a Pioneer test on Saturday, April 25. The Spartans go into the test with a record of 14-7. South won 14-1 in their recent league test against Wiseburn- Da Vinci (El Segundo, CA)
