California High School Baseball - Highland wallops Independence

The Highland Scots baseball team scored 17 runs and held the host Independence Falcons to 2 in the Scots league win on Friday.

The Scots now hold a 16-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Frontier for a non-league test on Wednesday, April 29. Highland will play a Titans team coming off a 10-5 league win over Garces Memorial (Bakersfield, CA). The Titans record now stands at 13-7.

With the defeat, Independence drops to 2-16 on the year. The Falcons host Bakersfield Christian (Bakersfield, CA) to play the Eagles in a test on Monday, April 27.
