The Salt Lake Academy Griffins soccer squad scored 3 points and held the host Riverton Silverwolves to 2 in the Griffins league victory on Friday.

The Griffins now hold a 11-3 record. They play next when they host Copper Hills for a 6A Region 2 bout on Wednesday, April 29. Salt Lake Academy will play a Grizzlies squad coming off a 2-1 league loss to Westlake (Saratoga Springs, UT). The Grizzlies record now stands at 8-7.

With the loss, Riverton moves to 7-8 on the year. The Silverwolves travel to Cedar Valley (Eagle Mountain, UT) to play the Aviators in a 6A Region 2 bout on Wednesday, April 29. The Aviators go into the bout with a record of 1-11. Cedar Valley lost 2-0 in their recent league bout against Mountain Ridge (Herriman, UT)
