In Friday's league match, the visiting Classical Lady Purple/Athena softball team scored a nice 20-7 victory over the Central Falls Warriors.
The Lady Purple/Athena (2-6) will now prepare for their match against Narragansett (Narragansett, RI). The Mariners go into the Division 3 match with a 1-6 record. In their last match, Narragansett was routed by Davies Career & Tech (Lincoln, RI), 20-10, in a league match.
In their next game, the Warriors battle the North Providence Cougars (North Providence, RI) in a match, on Monday, April 27. Central Falls will attempt to better on its 0-6 season record. The Cougars go into the match with a 3-5 record after their 12-2 non-league loss to Lincoln (Lincoln, RI).
