The Seventy-First Falcons softball team scored 18 runs and held the visiting Westover Wolverines to 2 in the Falcons league win on Friday.

The Falcons now sport a 5-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host South View for a Eastern Sandhills 5A/6A battle on Tuesday, April 28. Seventy-First will confront a Tigers team coming off a 11-0 league win over St. Pauls (St. Pauls, NC). The Tigers record now stands at 16-2.

With the loss, Westover moves to 0-10 on the season. The Wolverines travel to E.E. Smith (Fayetteville, NC) to confront the Golden Bulls in a Eastern Sandhills 5A/6A battle on Tuesday, April 28. The Golden Bulls come into the battle with a record of 1-11. E.E. Smith won 23-10 in their recent league battle against Douglas Byrd (Fayetteville, NC)
