North Carolina High School Baseball - Ashe County gets by Freedom

April 25, 2022: Morganton, NC 28655

The Ashe County Huskies (West Jefferson, NC) baseball the host Freedom Patriots (Morganton, NC), 10-8 in Monday's league contest.

Coming up next, the Huskies encounter the South Caldwell Spartans (Hudson, NC) in a Northwestern 3A/4A contest, on Tuesday, April 26. Ashe County will attempt to better on its 3-16 season record. The Spartans come into the contest with a 12-7 record after their 11-5 non-league loss to Bandys (Catawba, NC).

The Patriots now sport a 7-13 record. They play next when they travel to Watauga for a Northwestern 3A/4A contest on Tuesday, April 26. Freedom will encounter a Pioneers squad coming off a 12-4 non-league win over Starmount (Boonville, NC). The Pioneers record now stands at 13-6.
