The Moapa Valley Pirates crushed the host Cheyenne Desert Shields baseball team by a count of 16-4 in Monday's league test.
With the win, Moapa Valley upgrades its record to 13-7 on the season. The Pirates host Sunrise Mountain (Las Vegas, NV) to battle the Miners in a 3A South - Mountain test on Wednesday, April 27. The Miners come into the test with a record of 1-11. Sunrise Mountain lost 31-6 in their recent league test against Virgin Valley (Mesquite, NV)
With the defeat, Cheyenne falls to 4-9 on the campaign. The Desert shields host Western (Las Vegas, NV) to face the Warriors in a 3A South - Mountain bout on Wednesday, April 27. The Warriors enter the bout with a record of 5-11. Western lost 14-4 in their recent non-league bout against The Meadows School (Las Vegas, NV)
