The Rio Rancho Rams baseball team scored 4 runs and limited the host Cibola Cougars to 0 in the Rams league victory on Monday.
The Rams (21-3) will now prepare for their match against Cleveland (Rio Rancho, NM). The Storm go into the 5A District 1 match with a 14-9 record. In their last match, Cleveland edged Volcano Vista (Albuquerque, NM), 4-2, in a league match.
The Cougars (11-10) will now prepare for their match against Atrisco Heritage Academy (Albuquerque, NM). The Jaguars go into the 5A District 1 match with a 3-19 record. In their last match, Atrisco Heritage Academy was overwhelmed by Volcano Vista (Albuquerque, NM), 6-4, in a league match.
